21st March 2026
LA CLUSAZ, FRANCE

Please join us to celebrate!
We would be delighted if you could join us in the alpine village of La Clusaz, in the picturesque French Alps, to celebrate our wedding.

2.30pm, 21st March 2026
Restaurant 1647
La Clusaz

Please be seated by 2.15pm.
For those who would like to stay a little longer, we will be hosting an post-ski, slopeside lunch from around 1.30pm on Sunday 22nd March. We'll be on the sunny terrace of Le Vieux Chalet (weather depending) from 1.30pm with the rosé on ice, and expect to be sitting down for tartiflette at 2.30pm.
Don't worry if you've never been to the mountains before (or just have no desire to throw yourself down them!) there's no skiing required. Both venues are within easy reach of the village centre.

Please RSVP to each day accordingly and let us know of any dietary requirements by Sunday 11th January.

Accommodation
La Clusaz is a vibrant resort town with a variety of accommodation to suit different styles and budgets. We've gathered a selection of recommended places to stay, but this is by no means exhaustive. Most hotels have now also opened their bookings for the second half of the season through sites like booking.com with plenty of availability.

Transport to and from the venue is via the Beauregard Gondola lift, close to the Ski 3000 ski shop in the town centre, so please plan accordingly!

Resort Info
Restaurants
There are plenty of restaurants throughout La Clusaz.
Some of our favourites are: La Ferme & L'Arbe for Savoyard fare; L'Outa has a more varied menu and Trattoria Titina is excellent too.

Happily though, every restaurant we've tried so far in resort has been good, so it doesn't really matter where you pick. However, to avoid hanger, we highly recommend booking in advance as evenings tend to be busy and most of the restaurants are fairly small.

Getting Around Town
La Clusaz is pretty small and the main village can be walked one end to the other in 15-20 minutes. There is also a free Navette bus which runs various routes around town and to adjoining villages throughout the day.
Should you need a taxi while in resort you can try:
Taxi Lacroix +33 6 87 63 28 33

Babysitting & Childcare
If you need childcare while in resort, we suggest reaching out to Katia at Merinannies info@merinannies.com

Info for Skiers
Ski Hire
We’ve teamed up with local shop, Ski3000, to offer our guests a discounted rate for ski hire. The shop is located in the town centre, close to the Beauregard ski lift. The discounted rate is €21/day for skis, boots and poles and you can store shoes there during the day if you wish. Please ask for Thibault and mention Lucy & Chris Wedding when you're booking or in store.
Please note you cannot book through the website using this code, please email/phone in advance or drop into store on arrival.

Lift Passes
You will not need a ski pass to join us at the wedding on Saturday. Please make your way to the Beauregard lift where the ushers will direct you.
However, if you're staying in La Clusaz for longer, or want to ski pre-lunch on Sunday, you'll need a lift pass. Handily, the La Clusaz-Manigod ski pass is one of the cheapest in the Alps. You can book a single day for around €30 in advance or it's around €50 on the day.
Top Tip: Weirdly, if bought in advance, multiple 1 day passes work out much cheaper than a single multi-day pass.
(5 individual days = €155 vs a 5 day pass = €250)

Lessons
If you haven't skied before, or would like to brush up on technique, lessons are readily available in La Clusaz. We recommend:
